Soon after, the Vibranium was used in the development of cutting-edge technologies, with King T'Challa choosing to keep it in isolation, making the world believe it was an underdeveloped country, not calling the attention of other countries.

Vibranium Trafficking

T'Challa imagined that the metal was only in Wakanda, but when he visits his brother N'Jobi in America in 1992, he discovers that he is involved in Vibranium trafficking with the criminal Ulysses Klaue.

Therefore, the Black Panther Movie is brought back to the present day, where it shows T'Challa returning to Wakanda, with the female special forces, called Dora Milaje. Meanwhile, we see Erik "Killmonger" Stevens, along with Ulysses Klaue, in a museum in London, stealing Vibranium. In parallel, it shows that T'Challa's friend W'Kabi warns about the trafficking that was taking place with Ulysses Klaue.

With this warning, T'Challa tracks Ulysses Klaue to the South Belt, when it is discovered that the metal was being sold to a CIA agent, Everett K. Ross. As a result, they manage to capture Ulysses Klaue and turn him over to the then CIA agent.

Truth Revealed About Wakanda

Soon, Klaue starts talking about the facade that T'Challa has put on Wakanda, revealing that, in fact, it is a super technological country. In other words, it is not an underdeveloped country, as T'Challa always made it seem. But, agent Everett K. Ross, at first, does not believe it.
